Bourbon-Braised Corned Beef
Fresh corned beef braised with Garrison Brothers Bourbon Whiskey, fresh carrots, onions, and green cabbage, served with red potatoes.
Fresh corned beef braised with Garrison Brothers Bourbon Whiskey, fresh carrots, onions, and green cabbage, served with red potatoes.
1. In a large saucepot, cover the brisket with the beef broth, Garrison Brothers Bourbon Whiskey and pickling spice.
2. Simmer for the brisket for 2 hours.
3. Add in the potatoes and carrots, then simmer for another 20 minutes.
4. Stir in the green cabbage and onion, then simmer for 20-40 minutes, or until the corned beef is tender.
5. Remove the corned beef from the broth and serve with the cooked vegetables.
