Beloved Texas Bourbon Brand Continues to Expand its Southern California Footprint
Austin, Texas (December 20, 2022) – Garrison Brothers Distillery, founded in 2006 as the first legal whiskey distillery in Texas, is proud to announce the opening of Garrison Brothers Bar, located on the main level inside Southern California’s newest world-class sports and entertainment destination, Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs. This is the award-winning bourbon brand’s first namesake bar in California. Acrisure Arena, opened on December 14 and plays host to the Coachella Valley Firebirds, the AHL’s 32nd Franchise and the affiliate of the Seattle Kraken and to the biggest concerts, with seating to welcome more than11,000 fans.
The Garrison Brothers Bar at Acrisure Arena is located to the right of the stage and will feature two expressions of the award-winning bourbon brand including the best in specialty cocktails and neat pours. Garrison Brothers has taken California-based spirits competitions by storm earning 2022 Spirit of the Year as well as Gold and Platinum awards at the Monterey International Wine & Spirits Competition; Spirit of the Year, Gold and Double Gold at the San Diego Spirits Festival International Competition; Best Small Batch Whiskey at the LA Invitational Spirits Challenge; Gold and Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The approximate 1,210 square foot space, the new Garrison Brothers bar designed by Populous, sits just to the right of the stage on the main level offering visitors an unobstructed view of the entertainment and action.

Garrison Brothers first entered Coachella Valley in 2019 and quickly earned legions of local fans. Over the past three years, they’ve gone from being relatively unknown in the area to being carried across the desert at liquor and grocery retailers as well as being served at the finest restaurants and bars. They have already had a presence at entertainment activations throughout the desert including Stagecoach Music Festival, Palm Desert Food & Wine, and Pívat Cigar Lounge in Rancho Mirage.
