This September ain’t just Bourbon Heritage Month, we’re kicking off the first-ever Hye Fashioned Takeover, a month-long activation taking place across the nation and it will be supporting a long-standing passion and tradition at Garrison Brothers, taking care of veterans and their families! Participating bars and restaurants will be putting their own new and exciting twists on one of the most iconic cocktails in the world, the Old Fashioned.

RAISING A GLASS AND RAISING FUNDS TO GIVE BACK

As you embark on a Hye Fashioned journey, don’t forget to share your experience on Instagram or Facebook. With every post, you become part of something greater! Garrison Brothers will make a donation of $2 for every post to Boot Campaign to support their life-changing programs for veterans and military families. Follow the 3 quick steps below to share your #hyefashioned experience at participating locations:

1️⃣ Take a picture of your Hye Fashioned Cocktail (Hell, take a few)
2️⃣ Tag and follow @garrisonbros and @bootcampaign
3️⃣ Use the hashtag #hyefashioned to showcase your love for this iconic cocktail and help raise money for Boot Campaign

That’s all we need from you BUT, there is more! Every post counts as an entry for a chance to win a unique Garrison Brothers prize package. Hye Fashioned Takeover is back, y’all!

Celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month with our nationwide Hye Fashioned Takeover from September 1st to September 30th, where hundreds of bars and restaurants across the country elevate the classic Old Fashioned with Garrison Brothers Bourbon, showcasing their mixology mastery.

But it isn’t just about celebrating all things bourbon, the goal of Hye Fashioned Takeover is to help raise funds for Boot Campaign, a non-profit organization that honors and restores the lives of veterans and military families through individualized, life-improving programs. You can help raise funds by posting a picture of the featured Garrison Brothers Old Fashioned at participating bars or restaurants on Instagram Stories, following both Garrison Brothers Distillery and Boot Campaign Instagram handles, and using the hashtag #hyefashioned with the post. For every post, we will donate $5 to Boot Campaign. In addition to the donations, each post will be entered to win a one-of-a-kind Garrison Brothers Distillery prize package which includes a trip to Austin for a distillery visit for four guests, a two-night hotel stay, and tickets to a Moody Center concert of the winner’s choosing.

There will be a Hye Fashioned Takeover at Home kit for sale on our e-commerce page that comes with Garrison Brothers Old Fashioned Sugar Cubes + 750 ML bottle of Garrison Brothers Small Batch Bourbon for $84.99. For every kit sold, $5 will be donated to Boot Campaign. Home bar aficionados and bourbon lovers that are over 21 years of age and in America are invited to participate by making their own Old Fashioneds using Garrison Brothers Bourbon.

Monte Good, a traditional country music singer, draws on the rich heritage of Texas dance halls, combining world-class musicianship with true country music.

He began performing at age seven and formed his first band, “Monte Good and the Goodtimers,” in high school. After honing his skills in Oklahoma and Texas dance halls, Monte moved to Nashville in 1989. There, he played with various artists, including Scott McQuaig, Stacy Dean Campbell, Ricochet, John Michael Montgomery, and Sara Evans, performing on major television shows and touring with top country acts. Later, he joined Neal McCoy’s band, learning showmanship and entertaining global audiences. Monte also worked as bandleader and tour manager for George Canyon before deciding to return to his roots in traditional country music. Now residing in Texas, Monte released his first CD, “A Texas Honky Tonk,” to rave reviews and continues to perform and record, bringing his authentic country style to new fans.

Lee Winright is a dynamic solo artist and band leader hailing from the Texas Hill Country, deeply attuned to his musical roots.

His sound, grounded in Americana, seamlessly blends blues, country, rock, and rich harmonies. Over the years, Winright has shared the stage with national acts such as The Chicks, Jack Ingram, Robert Earl Keen, Charlie Robison, John Hiatt, Kelly Willis, Bruce Robison, and Robyn Ludwick. Notably, he played guitar alongside Charlie Robison, and has opened for and performed with James McMurtry, The McKay Brothers, Stoney LaRue, Midnight River Choir, Cowboy Mouth, and Jack Ingram.

Recently, Winright and his band held a residency at The Continental Club in Austin, TX. His debut album, “Nobody Saw It Coming,” received airplay on KFAN, TABC Radio, and Radio Free Texas. Following performances on FOX News at Nine, Great Day SA, and KABB San Antonio, Winright completed his follow-up album, “Time Between Times.” With a focus on captivating national audiences, he recently wrapped up a tour spanning New York, Colorado, California, Idaho, Washington, and Texas.
