Stephen Rogers has been playing and writing music for 27 years. As a fifth-generation musician and sixth-generation Texan, his musical influences run deep and span from Bob Wills and B.B. King to the Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Merle Haggard, and extend forward to George Strait, Robert Earl Keen, Roger Creager, and more. Born and raised in Houston, he is a proud Texas State Bobcat. Whether it’s Red Dirt, country, blues, or rock, he enjoys putting together a set that fits the time and the place to get boots scootin’ and people singin’.
