Lee Winright is a dynamic solo artist and band leader hailing from the Texas Hill Country, deeply attuned to his musical roots.

His sound, grounded in Americana, seamlessly blends blues, country, rock, and rich harmonies. Over the years, Winright has shared the stage with national acts such as The Chicks, Jack Ingram, Robert Earl Keen, Charlie Robison, John Hiatt, Kelly Willis, Bruce Robison, and Robyn Ludwick. Notably, he played guitar alongside Charlie Robison, and has opened for and performed with James McMurtry, The McKay Brothers, Stoney LaRue, Midnight River Choir, Cowboy Mouth, and Jack Ingram.

Recently, Winright and his band held a residency at The Continental Club in Austin, TX. His debut album, “Nobody Saw It Coming,” received airplay on KFAN, TABC Radio, and Radio Free Texas. Following performances on FOX News at Nine, Great Day SA, and KABB San Antonio, Winright completed his follow-up album, “Time Between Times.” With a focus on captivating national audiences, he recently wrapped up a tour spanning New York, Colorado, California, Idaho, Washington, and Texas.

Hot Pickin’ 57s play an energetic, fun mix of Bluegrass, Classic Country and Americana.

The band members have deep roots in the Austin music scene, reuniting in 2016 after their musical educations at Berklee, South Plains College and Texas State. They’ve played in well-known bands like the Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, Whit Smith’s Hot Jazz Caravan and Rosie and the Ramblers. On stage, they’ve had the privilege of performing alongside artists such as Sierra Hull, Alan Munde, Billy Bright (Wood & Wire), Mark Cosgrove (David Bromberg) and Kym Warner.

Set lists typically include well-known covers along with original compositions. Hot Pickin’ 57s cover a diverse group of artists including Bill Monroe, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Old Crow Medicine Show, Flatt & Scruggs, John Denver, Ernest Tubb, Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, Bob Wills, Doc Watson, George Jones and Grandpa Jones.
